Whether you are on a hot bite and you can't remember how many fish you've caught or you've hooked a few whoppers during your session, it's time to replace those hooks.  Replace those bent weakened hooks.  You can only bend them back so much before they will break. Maybe even break on that trophy fish you just hooked onto. It's a good idea to change them out after a good session. You also have the option to change those Barbless hooks for some barbed hooks.
